RAI shows confidence in the "Gatekeeper" platform of Picopoint

Picopoint wins bid at the RAI Amsterdam for the provisioning of all management and billing activites for fixed and wireless Internet Access.

Picopoint was delivering this service for a couple of years already, but only in a few designated areas. With the new contract all exhibition areas and offices will be connected to the "gatekeeper" platform, allowing The Rai to provide high speed Internet access throughout their premmisses, without any hassle!

Each and every year, Amsterdam RAI bids a hearty welcome to more than two million visitors. The combination of excellent service, perfect accessibility, the exciting city of Amsterdam for business and pleasure is what makes Amsterdam RAI unique. Inspiring people, that’s the aim of the RAI.

The fully air-conditioned RAI complex is the main international exhibition and congress centre in north-western Europe . It covers a total exhibition area of 91,000 m2. Twelve multifunctional halls are available for exhibitions, trade fairs, cultural, sports and other events. The congress centre comprises 22 congress and conference rooms with a capacity up to 1,750 persons. For large and very large gatherings one of the exhibitions halls can be fitted out as a fully fledged conference hall.
 
Amsterdam RAI is working hard on upgrading the convention centre and its services. The goal is clear: Offering the market an international top event location with state of the art facilities. The icing on the cake will be the Elicium, which will complete this phase of the RAI’s evolution into a high-quality compact venue.  The construction of the North-South metro line also fits in very well with the future plans of Amsterdam RAI.
